Credit Repair Scams - Are you Game?

The FTC said consumers should avoid companies that:

* Demand upfront fees before they provide any services.

* Don’t tell you your legal rights and what you can do for yourself.

* Tell you not to contact a credit repair company directly.

* Advise you to dispute all the information on your credit report.

* Suggest creating a “new” credit identity by using illegal means to create a new ersonal identity.
