Look out for this scam which is taking place on the various "Credit Repair Services" available on the market.

Another warning sign to watch out for is the suggestion to create a "new" credit report or identity by applying for the Employer Identification Number (EIN). An EIN is primarily used by businesses; obtaining an EIN under false pretenses is a crime!
